Making Dutch energy labels easy for expats
Expat Energy Labels exists for one reason: to make getting an official Dutch energy label simple for people who don't speak Dutch or aren't familiar with the system.
Laurens, Founder & EP Advisor
Our story
Started by frustration, built on trust
A few years ago, Laurens kept hearing the same story from international friends: they'd bought or were renting out a home, and suddenly needed an "energielabel" nobody could explain in English.
Government portals were Dutch-only. Inspectors didn't return emails. Closings were at risk over a single missing document. So he got certified as an Energy Performance advisor and built the service he wished existed, one that speaks your language, shows up on time, and handles the paperwork end to end.
Today, Expat Energy Labels is a small, focused team that has registered thousands of labels across the Randstad. We're big enough to be fast and small enough that you always deal with a real, named person.
